The Love Witch

This may be one of the strangest films you ever see and that’s why we love it.
Everything about this film screams 70’s; the acting, cinematography, costumes, and score, but surprisingly it is from the 2010’s.
The film centers on the personality of the protagonist Elaine, which we could imagine inspired the creation of another female protagonist, Pearl.
This film is a colourful femineity fever dream; Feminism is a key theme, like it is in most films with witches, but this is something new.
We recommend watching this fun thought-provoking film over afternoon cocktails, with a deck of tarot cards, maybe burn your box of Ex boyfriend mementos haha
