Hocus Pocus 2

This excellent sequel is a must-see classic and came out 29 years after the original (you must watch the original first).
Although it is a sequel, it is also kind of a remake, a "requel", and on top of that the cold open is a prequel!
We absolutely LOVE the prequel at the beginning, it's so good we wish they would have made it into a whole film, the kids do a great job acting and capturing the personality of the witches.
29 years is a long hiatus, the witches were out of their element in the original film, but so much more now in the 21st century.
The film has great CGI and uses other tech which actually hadn't been invented yet when the original was released.
We are so happy the witch actors reprised their roles, but are equally happy with the new female protagonists that reflect modern America.
We could have done without the Walgreens ad but its forgivable for all the great Halloween imagery we get.
We recommend you make caramel apples to eat while you watch the film!
