Cemetery Man

1994

Michele Soavi

Avant-Garde, Comedy, Must-See, Not Scary, Zombies

We bet you have never heard of this 90's dark comedy, but it is gonna be one your new favourite films; based on the Italian book by Tiziano Sclavi, it is kind of a fairytale.
The theme is the blurring the line between love (Dellamore) and death (Dellamorte)
The film is so delightfully weird and charming, it's difficult not to fall in love with the Cemetery Man and his sidekick.
The film obviously takes place in a cemetery which is a macabre and atmospheric location, there are excellent special effects too, some gore, and it is complimented by a perfect although repetitive score which will make sense by the end.
There is a lot of nudity and some sex scenes, Everett and Falchi spend half the film nude showing off their gorgeous bodies, eye candy for everyone.
There are many twists that titillate the mind, the imagination, and the soul.
Quite possibly the most headshots ever in a film, could turn it into a drinking game.
The film is in English, you won't have to read any subtitles.
We imagine directors like Burton and Shyamalan are jealous they didn't get this script.
Features Rupert Everett, Anna Falchi, François Hadji-Lazaro, Stefano Masciarelli, Clive Riche, Katja Anton, and others.
