Evil Dead Rise

This is a modern classic and masterpiece, so creepy, gross, and thrilling.
You would be forgiven for not recognizing that this is a sequel of Evil Dead.
This sequel takes place 10 years later than the last material (tv series), it centers on the third Book of The Dead (there were 3 shown in Army of Darkness), and there will be more sequels!
The film cleverly references other classic films throughout the movie, continuing Raimi, Cronin, and Craven’s love affair.
This sequel is pretty terrifying, we don’t recommend watching it alone; the score, set, effects, and makeup are very well done.
What really makes this film unique is it’s setting in a derelict LA apartment tower; we love new ideas.
Features Alyssa Sutherland in an award worthy performance, also Morgan Davies, Lily Sullivan, Gabrielle Echols, Nell Fisher, and Richard Crouchley.
