Vampires, Not Scary, Must-See

Many people regard this Swedish film as the best vampire flick ever made, and while we agree it is great, it is lacking in scariness, but it is definitely a must-see film for sure.
This is mostly a coming of age story, and it is heart wrenching and sweet, with just a bit of romance.
The film is very cinematic with beautiful shots showing off winter in the suburbs of Stockholm; we love how unbothered these people are by the cold and snow.
There is quite a bit of gore and special effects in this film which is done well, but the child actors really crush it and carry the film.
The film is in Swedish obviously and you will have to read the subtitles.
