Silent Hill

This film based off a video game of the same name is mildly successful.
The film relies heavily on CGI, but it didn’t spend the money and didn’t have the technology to properly bring this story to life; if they had only waited another decade to make this, it could have been incredible.
The film creates a great spooky atmosphere, has really cool monsters (?), and has great scary and disturbing scenes with disgusting gore and terror.
The protagonist in the video game was a male with feminine qualities, but in this film, they have been swapped out for a strong female.
The film gets confusing when it introduces various characters without any backstory or explanation of what they are (pyramid head).
There is a sequel that is watchable, but not more successful.
We hope this story gets a remake in the future with an appropriate budget and better script.
