Wes Craven
Original, Mystery, Supernatural, Very Scary, Must-See
This terrifying survival film is a must-see masterpiece and is definitely not for the faint of heart.
The atmosphere created by the desolate desert setting is excellent, completely exposed to the elements and whatever may be hiding in the hills.
There is excellent brutal gore and deaths, very scary, you will be on the edge of your seat, so much suspense, tension, and action.
We do wish that there was more character development, you don't get to fall in love with the characters as much as we would have liked.
We also highly recommend you watch the 2006 remake and its sequel, both are excellent.
Features Susan Lanier, Robert Houston, Martin Speer, Dee Wallace, Russ Grieve, John Steadman, James Whitworth, Virginia Vincent, Lance Gordon, Michael Berryman, Janus Blythe, Peter Locke, and others.
